About

Polk County-run campground at 750-acre Saddle Creek Park, one of the largest parks in Central Florida. 36 RV sites and 5 primitive tent sites, partial hookups (50/30/20-amp electric and water, no sewer). Dump station, flush restrooms, showers, a boat launch (6am-10pm) with largemouth bass and catfish fishing, a playground, picnic tables/shelters, a softball field, a gun range, and hiking trails (the 1.2-mile Nature Trail and the 2.3-mile Tenoroc Trails). Has closed for renovation in past Julys/Augusts - check current status before a summer visit.
