Peaine Township rustic campground on the east shore of Beaver Island, on East Side Drive south of the St. James harbor. Lakeside tent and small-RV sites with no hookups; the township does not publish a site count. Beaver Island is an International Dark Sky Sanctuary. Reservations are made online through the township's Firefly booking page.
