About
Pawnee County campground on a 32.5-acre grassland site with mature shade trees, overlooking a bluff above the Pawnee River. 14 RV/camper sites with electric and water hookups, plus septic disposal. A lodge building with a full kitchen and screened porch is available for rent; restrooms, a water hydrant, play structures, a basketball court, and a one-mile walking loop. Near Fort Larned National Historic Site (2 miles west) and the Santa Fe Trail Center Museum (2 miles east). Open April 1-October 31. Contact the Pawnee County Clerk's Office for rates, rules, and reservations. Coordinates are for Larned rather than the campground itself - confirm the exact location before travelling.
