St. Johns River Water Management District camping area at Rice Creek Conservation Area, west of Palatka. A single primitive campsite with a shelter. Hiking, bicycling and horseback riding on the property; the bike trail shares a road with logging traffic. Free, but a permit is required. Reservations: online.
