About

Nevada Irrigation District campground on the pine-forested shore of Scotts Flat Lake east of Nevada City, with a marina, boat launch, store and swimming beach. The district counts 169 sites in two campgrounds plus a group camp, but the Gate 1 campground closes July 26, 2026 for a multi-year dam project expected to run to about 2030, so the number of sites available in the meantime is smaller. Showers and a dump station. Open year-round; reservations online.
