About

Town-run campground on 1,100 wooded acres deeded to Lynnville in 1964 by the Peabody Coal Company from former strip-mined land. 24 modern sites with water, electric (50-amp), and sewer; 16 modern sites with water and electric (50-amp); 22 primitive sites. Main lake stocked with largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish; a concrete boat ramp, handicap fishing pier, and boat dock. Wildlife includes deer, quail, rabbits, squirrels, wild turkey, beaver, and Canada geese. Contact Town Hall for booking.
