City-run campground within Sylvan Park, just south of downtown Lanesboro in the Root River Valley's bluff country, steps from shops, restaurants, and arts venues. About 25 RV sites with water and electric hookups, about 23 tent sites, a bathhouse with coin-operated hot showers, and a dump station. The Root River State Trail is minutes away, popular with cyclists; the park itself has fishing ponds, picnic areas, and a playground. Open roughly April through November. Check-in noon, checkout 11am.
