Lake Metroparks tent campsite nestled near the rim of the Penitentiary Glen gorge, among hemlock and chestnut oak trees, a short walk from designated parking near the nature center. Public flush restrooms and a drinking fountain at the nature center (~1 mile away via the Rabbit Run Loop Trail; exterior restroom access stays open after the center closes at 5pm). Part of a reservation with 8.5+ miles of trails.
