Backcountry campground in Jefferson County's White Ranch Park in the foothills above Golden. Jefferson County Open Space runs it as a semi-primitive, tent-only walk-in campground - no vehicles, trailers or RVs at the site. Permits are booked online at least 24 hours ahead and released 90 days in advance. Each campsite takes a maximum of 8 people and 3 tents. Open April 1 to October 31. The county publishes no site count.
