About
Howard County Conservation campground on the Turkey River about two miles south of Cresco, past the Prairie's Edge Nature Center. 46 sites, 17 of them drive-thru, each with water and 50/30-amp and 110 electric; shower house and playground. First come, first served, no reservations - self-register within an hour of arriving. Open May through October.
