Town of Hanson's Camp Kiwanee on Maquan Pond, midway between Boston and Cape Cod, is a cabin camp first and a tent campground second: 4 tent sites in the South End campground, alongside 34 rustic cabins across the South and North Ends (including three electric cabins, two chalet cabins sleeping 16, a Frontier cabin and a cottage). Two bathhouses with restrooms and hot showers, stone fire rings, and free admission to the town's Cranberry Cove beach in summer. Fishing on the pond and trails to Smitty's Bog. No pets, no alcohol; linens not provided. Check-in 3 pm, check-out 11 am.
Fees
Tent sites $40 per tent per night. Standard cabins $75 per night, electric cabins $100, chalet cabins $75, Frontier cabin $175, South Cottage $250. Hanson residents 20% off, veterans 10% off.
