County RV campground in 1,100-acre Tanglewood Park along the Yadkin River. 44 newly refurbished campsites. Main park entrance is off US Route 158 (GPS may direct visitors to an inaccessible rear entrance). Championship golf courses, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking trails, swimming, boating, picnic facilities, and a 50-person picnic shelter for RV guests. Pet-friendly. Seasonal: March 1-December 5, including the first weeks of the Festival of Lights. Cancellations within 14 days of check-in incur a one-day reservation-fee penalty.
