About
Douglas County campground at Topaz Lake Recreation Area, just off U.S. Highway 395 on the California-Nevada state line. The county describes 15 reservable RV sites with water and electric hookups, 26 reservable dry sites and primitive camping in undeveloped areas; the online booking listing numbers sites 15-35 as hookup sites and 1-14 as dry. Every site has a fire pit and picnic table. Boat ramp with two docks, fish cleaning station, flush and pit toilets, showers, dump station, and a day picnic area. Hookup and dry sites are reservation only; the primitive area is first come, first served. Reservations by phone at 775-782-9835 or through the county's online booking.
Fees
$40/night RV hookup sites; $30/night dry sites; $20/night primitive camping; $10 second vehicle; $5 reservation fee. Boat launch $10 per stay for campers.
