Forest Preserves of Cook County campground (340-person full-campground capacity). 5 tent campsites, 26 RV/tent sites with electricity (15 at 30/50-amp, 11 at 20-amp), 3 large cabins, 8 small cabins, and 1 organized group campsite. Sanitation station at the south end. Parking, showers, a camp store, accessible indoor bathrooms, a nature play area, a picnic grove with shelter, trail access, kayak rentals, an accessible canoe landing, a fishing pier, and ice fishing. Reservations online (48+ hours ahead), by phone (855-YES-CAMP, weekdays 8:30am-4:30pm), or in person 7 days/week 8am-4pm. Check-in 3pm, checkout noon; quiet hours 11pm-7am. Nonprofits/veterans: 50% off cabin/bunkhouse and tent/RV fees. Cancellation refunds scale from 100% (60+ days out) to none (under 14 days).
