Clay County Parks campground at Smithville Lake. Online reservations open; same-day walk-in sites sold first-come, first-served when available. Camp Host booth at the campground entrance handles site assignment, firewood, and ice sales; office also reachable during business hours. Maximum 6 people per site, up to two tents or one tent and one camper, three axled units per site. A public swim beach (showers, changing rooms, restrooms, no lifeguard) is on-site; pets, glass containers, and alcohol are not permitted at the beach.
