About

Champaign County Forest Preserve District campground at Middle Fork River Forest Preserve. All sites electric; each is a quiet, shaded retreat under oak, hickory, and hackberry trees. 11 "Dark Sky Friendly" campsites with unobstructed sky views for stargazing, plus the electric Burr Oak Group Site (call for reservations). Fish, hike, swim, watch wildlife, and sit around the campfire. Shower building on-site. Coordinates are for Middle Fork River Forest Preserve rather than the campground entrance.

Fees

Holiday campsite: $40/night. Friday-Saturday: $30/night. Sunday-Thursday: $25/night. Burr Oak Group Site: $85/night. Primitive (non-electric): $20/night.
