About
Canyon County archaeological park with walk-up camping, no electric or RV hookups. Potable water outside the visitor center, 24-hour restrooms, picnic tables, designated fire rings and grills. Groups over 50 people need a special permit. Payment by envelope in fee boxes at three park locations. Quiet hours 10pm-7am; leashed pets (max 6ft) only. Camping is first-come, first-served with fees paid by envelope at the fee boxes, and there is no electricity or any RV hookup. Potable water is outside the visitor centre rather than at the sites. Three-night limit in any 30-day period. Open year-round. The county names the camping area at the park's east end the East End Campground; it is part of this same $5-a-night, first-come camping and is not mapped separately.
