About
City of Burlington campground on Lake Champlain, across almost 45 acres of woods and beach at the north end of the city: 137 sites - 69 tent sites, 29 full-hookup RV sites and 39 water-and-electric trailer sites - plus lean-to shelters and a group site, with picnic tables and fire rings at every site and a dump station. Some larger tent sites have been converted to primitive camper-and-van sites with no hookups and no generators. Bathrooms and hot showers, a sandy beach with a snack shack, playground and pavilion, free Wi-Fi, firewood and ice for sale, and direct access to 9 miles of bike path. Up to 4 adults on a tent site, 6 on a water-and-electric site and 8 on a full-hookup site (children not counted); 14 nights maximum, then 7 nights away; check-in 2 pm, check-out noon; no outside firewood. Pets are welcome on a 6-foot leash, attended at all times. All ordinary reservations are made online, released in four date windows from December to March; five full-hookup sites are set aside for month-long stays booked by phone or email with the campground office. Open May 15 through October 15.
Fees
