About
City-run campground on the Pomme de Terre River, directly off State Highway 7/59, in Appleton. 20 hookup sites plus 4 tent sites (24 total). Water/electricity at select sites, a handicap-accessible fishing pier, restroom building with showers, sewer dump station, and fire rings with picnic tables. No outside firewood allowed. All sites require a reservation, bookable online through ResNexus.
Fees
Tent sites without utilities: $25/night. Tent sites with utilities: $35/night. Hookup sites: $35/night. Weekly tent rate: $125. Weekly hookup/equipped tent: $200 first week, $175 subsequent weeks.
