Municipality of Anchorage's 18-site rustic tent-only campground in Girdwood, nestled among spruce and cottonwood with a cooking area, fire ring, and bear-proof food lockers. No vehicle, camper, RV, or trailer camping - tent sites only, max 2 vehicles per site kept on roads/parking lots. Port-a-potties on site; showers available at a nearby laundromat. First-come, first-served, no advance reservations. Open late May through mid-September, weather dependent; 14-night max stay.
