About

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful camping experience, head to Prairie Creek Campground. It has 50 unserviced sites, including a number of pull-through sites. The mature forest and ample space between campsites create privacy for campers.

Enjoy all the peace and quiet of a hidden getaway without having to brave dusty backroads to get there. It’s a smooth, paved drive to the campground, and only 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain House

While campers may take advantage of the proximity to off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails, off-loading or operating OHVs inside the park is strictly prohibited. OHVs must remain on trailers until they reach the nearby trail systems and staging areas.

Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.

This is an unserviced campground and cellphone reception is limited .

Firewood: Firewood is not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to bring or buy firewood locally to burn on site.

Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump/tap is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
