About
This quiet prairie campground is off the beaten track and offers basic amenities and sites suitable for tents or RVs. Enjoy bird watching and relaxing under starry skies. Short walking trails nearby offer a glimpse into what native prairie grasslands might have looked like decades ago: prepare yourself for a stunning sunset (and watch your feet for cactus). Nearby, explore the badlands of the Red Deer River or use the park as a launchpad for exploring nearby communities: Alberta's Special Areas .
Managed in partnership with Special Areas Board.
Firewood: Firewood is not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to bring or buy firewood locally to burn on site.
Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump/tap is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
