About

Gooseberry Campground is in Gooseberry Provincial Recreation Area, 10 km west of Bragg Creek along Hwy. 66. There are over 80 sites in a aspen/pine forest near the Elbow River. A great choice for those who want the comfort of power hookups without sacrificing access to world-class trails and scenery. Unserviced and walk-in tenting sites are also available. From this area you can fish and hike, or explore other opportunities nearby.

Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.

Firewood: Firewood available for purchase at the McLean Creek Campground store, at the manager's site and from the firewood truck.

Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.

Sewage: Check RV Sewage Disposal Stations for locations in Kananaskis Country.
