About

Fallen Timber South Campground is located in Fallen Timber South Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km west of Cochrane on Hwy. 1A and 52 km north on Hwy. 40. Campsites are ideal for both RVs and tents, and several sites are located near the creek for easy access to the water and tranquil views. Seasonal campsites are also available.

A good base camp in the foothills for nearby hiking and OHV trails. Registered campers may off-load OHVs and travel to trails from their campsites.

Operated by Red Rock Sawmills Ltd.

Opening date subject to snow levels. Camping season may extend into November, weather permitting. Snowmobile staging free of charge.

Reservations: The campground is managed by Red Rock Sawmills. Visit their website for reservation information. First come, first served AND reservable sites available.

Firewood: Firewood is available with campsite fees.

Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
