About

Crimson Lake Provincial Park offers year-round camping just 14 km west of Rocky Mountain House. This fun year-round getaway offers many trails for hiking, mountain biking, or skiing.

During the summer, enjoy all the amenities the park has to offer, including a boat launch, sewage disposal station, showers, coin operated laundry, a campground store, playground and a large beach area that is great for swimming. The camp store offers firewood sales, snacks, and basic camping supplies.

Through-out the winter, there are several powered camping sites available at a reduced rate. Our staff plow snow out of these sites for easy access to enjoy the outdoors during all seasons. Access to vault washrooms is available year-round, however winter campers should come prepared with their own firewood and water as these services are not available from October - May. Visitors to Crimson Lake can take in a variety of winter activities including ice fishing, skating on a maintained skating rink, and groomed and packed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and fat biking.

Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.
