About
This scenic campground is found in Beauvais Lake Provincial Park, 11.5 km west of Pincher Creek on Hwy. 507 and 8.5 km south on Hwy. 775.
This campground features a mix of powered and unserviced car-accessible sites, set among spruce and aspen forest and are a short walk from the playground, outdoor theatre, park office, and lake. All sites include a gravel pad, picnic table, and fire pit. Potable water, outhouses, and garbage receptacles are located throughout the area.
Located at the quieter south end of the lake, there are nine unserviced walk-in tenting sites that offer excellent sunset and wildlife viewing. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table, with nearby access to bear-proof storage, potable water, outhouses, and garbage facilities.
Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.
When camping in a powered site:
Use 1-2 electrical appliances maximum at the same time. When campers lose power, it's usually because too much electricity is being used at once.
Do not use adapters to draw power from a 15 amp for an RV with a 30 amp plug.
Have a backup plan. Use other methods to cook, stay cool/warm and keep entertained.
Remember, conserving electricity and timing when you use your electricity in a campsite will ensure you can stay powered. Get more information about using power sites.
Reservations: Winter : From late September to early May, 15 powered individual sites are available by first-come, first-served self-registration. Walk-in tenting sites are closed during this time.
Firewood: Firewood is available to be purchased from the park office during the summer season.
Water: Potable water is available from the May long weekend to the end of September, weather dependent. Visitors are encouraged to bring a supply of drinking water to support water conservation and as a backup measure.
Sewage: Sani-dump is available for a fee (loonies, twoonies and quarters only) during the summer season. The dump station at the Co-op Gas Station in Pincher Creek (20 km NE of the park) is open until the end of October, weather permitting.
