Cabin 2 (ADA) · sleeps 4
Wild Horse State Recreation Area's ADA-accessible cabin, at the south end of the park with views of Wild Horse Reservoir and the surrounding mountains, sleeping up to 4. It has one bedroom and bathroom (toilet and sink). The kitchen has a mini-fridge and microwave but no cooktop or conventional oven. Central heating and air conditioning are included, but there's no shower inside the cabin itself - a shared shower building is about 300 yards away. No WiFi, and AT&T is the only cell carrier that reaches the area. Available for rent year-round.

Two of Wild Horse State Recreation Area's three cabins (Cabin 2 is the park's ADA cabin - see that record), at the south end of the park with views of Wild Horse Reservoir and the surrounding mountains. Each has one bedroom and bathroom (toilet and sink) plus a bunkroom, sleeping up to 6. The kitchen has a mini-fridge and microwave but no cooktop or conventional oven. Central heating and air conditioning are included, but there's no shower inside the cabin itself - a shared shower building is about 300 yards away. No WiFi, and AT&T is the only cell carrier that reaches the area. Available for rent year-round.
Fees
$90.00 per night for Nevada-plated vehicles, $95.00 per night for non-Nevada vehicles. Reservations on reservenevada.com carry a non-refundable $5.00 transaction fee per booking. You can book up to 11 months ahead, but must reserve at least 3 days before arrival. Cancelling more than a month before arrival forfeits only that $5 fee; less than a month but more than 3 days out adds a $10 fee; inside 3 days of arrival (or a no-show) forfeits $10 plus one night's cost. No refunds are given for weather, smoke, or other conditions outside the park's control.
Wild Horse's own page states these cabins are available for rent year-round, with central heating for cold weather. Wild Horse sits at roughly 6,250 feet in the mountains near Elko, so winter travel to the park itself can still involve snow and cold - check road conditions before a winter visit.
