About each unit

Cabins 1, 2, 6 & 7 · sleeps 5

Four of Mohawk Trail State Forest's six rustic log cabins, each sleeping up to five people with bunk beds, a table, and chairs. Every cabin has a wood stove for heat; on Cabins 6 and 7 specifically, that stove doubles as a cooking surface (Cabins 1 and 2 don't have that). Cabins 6 and 7 are wheelchair accessible; Cabins 1 and 2 are not. There's no running water or electricity in any of the six cabins - bring your own linens and cooking gear. Restrooms, showers, and a dumping station are shared with the main campground. Pets aren't allowed in Massachusetts DCR yurts or cabins statewide, even at parks where regular campsites allow pets.

Cabins 3 & 5 · sleeps 3

Two of Mohawk Trail State Forest's six rustic log cabins, each sleeping up to three people with bunk beds, a table, and chairs. Every cabin has a wood stove for heat; on Cabin 5 specifically, that stove doubles as a cooking surface (Cabin 3 doesn't have that). Cabin 5 is wheelchair accessible; Cabin 3 is not. There's no running water or electricity in either cabin - bring your own linens and cooking gear. Restrooms, showers, and a dumping station are shared with the main campground. Pets aren't allowed in Massachusetts DCR yurts or cabins statewide, even at parks where regular campsites allow pets.

Fees

The park's own live fee notice lists only its general campsite rate ($17/night MA resident, $54 non-resident), with no separate cabin/yurt rate - confirm the actual rate when you check availability and select dates. A $4.50 non-refundable reservation fee applies per booking, per Massachusetts DCR's statewide camping reservation policy.

Mohawk Trail's live 2026 booking calendar runs mid-May through mid-October, and the park's own reservation system notes there's no off-season cabin camping here - plan on this being a warm-weather stay only.
