About

Ten Deluxe Cabins at Lake Claiborne State Park, each sleeping up to 8 people with 1 double bed, 2 bunk beds, and a double sofa sleeper. Basic cookware, dinnerware, towels, and linens are provided; bring your own food. Two cabins (7 and 8) are tagged ADA - but the park's own page adds a real caveat: their master bedrooms are upstairs and are NOT wheelchair accessible, so ask specifically what a wheelchair user can and can't reach before booking. Three of the 10 cabins overall are pet-friendly (which specific cabins isn't published - ask when booking). $40 surcharge per dog, maximum 2 dogs per cabin, per Louisiana State Parks' own published pet policy.

Fees

$175.00-$262.50 per night plus tax. A $4.50 non-refundable fee is assessed on each reservation transaction (online, phone, or walk-in). Cabins and lodges check in at 3 p.m. and check out at 11 a.m. (different from this park's 2 p.m./1 p.m. campsite times), and an advance deposit equal to one night's stay is required.

This is a standing, year-round rental with no seasonal closure published. Louisiana State Parks doesn't publish a hurricane-season or storm-related closure policy for this unit either; call the park directly to confirm status during an active storm system before a trip.
