About

Rock Cut State Park's Rent-A-Camp cabin is a real, furnished cabin built by Illinois DNR: one full-size bed, two sets of bunk beds, an electric heater, and a ceiling fan (some locations also have a drop-leaf table and chairs), sleeping up to 6. Electricity is included, but there's no running water, kitchen, or private bathroom inside - showers are at the campground's bathhouse. Bring your own bedding and personal items. All of them are ADA accessible. Pets are not allowed at cabin sites. This cabin sits on one of Illinois DNR's six Premium-rate campgrounds.

Fees

$50/night ($60 on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends), per Illinois DNR's statewide camping fee schedule: a $25 cabin fee plus this Class A Premium site's own camping and utility fees. Illinois seniors 62+ and residents with a disability card receive a discount; a $5 reservation fee applies.

No cabin-specific season is published; Illinois DNR's general note for most reservable sites is that they're bookable roughly May 1 through October 31, with some available year-round - call the park to confirm this cabin's own season before planning a winter trip.
