About
Winchester Lake State Park has four named yurts - Lodgepole, Snowberry, Ponderosa, and Tamarack - each with a bunk bed, a futon that folds out to a full bed, a microwave, electric wall heat, a picnic table both inside and out, an outdoor fire ring, and a propane BBQ on the deck (fuel included). Base occupancy is 5, up to 8 for a $12/person fee. Two yurts are ADA accessible. Dogs are welcome (leashed, never left unattended) in every yurt except Lodgepole, which is kept pet-dander-free. Open year-round; each reservation includes one canoe with life jackets and paddles. No smoking, open flames, tents, campers, or RVs are allowed at the yurt sites. No individual per-yurt coordinate is published - the map point shown is this park's own campground location.
