About each unit

Cedar Cabin · sleeps 4

Cedar is one of five cabins at Kōkeʻe Lodge, a family-style restaurant, gift shop, and cabin retreat inside Kōkeʻe State Park on the rim of Waimea Canyon on Kauaʻi. It sleeps up to 4 people across two rooms - one with a queen bed, one with two twin beds - in about 700 square feet, with rainforest views, a kitchen, a bathroom, a microwave, and a tea/coffee maker. A wood-burning stove is the cabin's only heat source; firewood is sold on-site. This lodge and its cabins are a separate, privately run part of the park from the drive-up campground area, which is closed for construction through spring 2027 - that closure doesn't affect the lodge or these cabins.

Fees

Nightly rate isn't published online - Kōkeʻe Lodge's booking system shows current pricing once you pick your dates. Call (808) 335-6061 or email [email protected] for current rates.

Kōkeʻe Lodge sits at over 3,000 feet elevation, genuinely cooler and wetter than Kauaʻi's coast, and each cabin is heated only by its own wood-burning stove - pack warm layers. The lodge's own site lists no closure (distinct from the park campground's own construction closure - see the cabin's description), but call ahead to confirm current operating days before a trip.
