About each unit
Monashka Cabin · sleeps 7
Sleeps up to 7, on the main Kodiak Island road system. Drive-in access. Heated by a wood stove. Like every Alaska State Parks public-use cabin, it comes with wooden sleeping platforms, a table, and chairs or benches, plus a nearby outdoor latrine - no running water or indoor plumbing. Bring your own sleeping bag or bedding, cooking stove and fuel, cookware and utensils, and a 9-volt battery for the smoke detector. A natural water source is usually nearby but must be purified before drinking.
